Media Statement

The Huntington Beach Union High School District is known for its outstanding programs. On occasion, various forms of media, including pictures and videos of students participating in school activities, may appear on social media, websites, or newspapers highlighting these events. Because these events and interviews are almost always needed on a spur-of-the-moment basis, we are making you aware of this possible occurrence.

This form is to be returned during registration if you do not want your child to be recognized in any form of media release. Please communicate this information to your child to help the school enforce your rights. While this will be noted in student records, understand that this notation is not immediately known in extra-curricular events or at off-site activities.
