hi everyone I'm Doctor Marion principal of Valley Vista High School and you're watching this video because you're either interested in attending Valley Vista or you are a student who's about to attend Valley Vista so we created this video just to help you understand a little bit about our school and to highlight some of our program so you can see what to expect if you come to Valley Valley Vista is a continuation school Juniors and seniors and our entire goal is to help students catch up on their credits for graduation we do that in a bunch of ways one way is that we are a very small campus we averaged just over 300 students so that lets us keep our my size is smaller and it really helps our teachers and our staff to get to know our students and foreign students to get to know our staff so when soon come to Valley over and over and over again they tell me how cared about they feel and how safe they feel while they're here a lot of students just tell me that a lot of the stress that they were feeling at their home schools goes away because of our structure and our size and them out of support that they get in their classes the other thing that makes us unique is that we have a really flexible student structure so that we are able to really work toward meeting students individual needs our students are able to take 100 credits worth of classes during the year because we take the same classes as you do at your home school but we do it in a your system so you take those classes four times a year instead of two times a year so you're able to earn credits twice as fast while you're here we also have after school credit recovery for you can earn credits and just about every class that we have a Mobile on campus and whole bunch of high interest classes at our students love to take you have a college class on campus after school we have work experience we have a ctea pathway to have a lot of opportunities for our students to get connected to the campus get involved in all of the credit that they possibly need for graduation again this video is designed to kind of highlight some of those programs and to show you what our campus is all about because we think that it's the best place for our students that really need to get caught up and our goal is to help you meet your goals so if your goal is to get back to your home campus we want to help you do that if your goal is to graduate on time for Valle Vista we want to help you do that and even if your goal is to graduate early were able to help students do that and some students really benefit from that please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions and we look forward to having you at though
