School Closure Update

Valley Vista High School, as well as all HBUHSD schools, will now be closed through May 1, with schools scheduled to open on May 4. Students, please monitor your email as you will be receiving updates and assignments from your teachers in the upcoming days. Grab and Go lunches are still available for all students at WHS and OVHS from 12:00 to 1:00, every day except during the scheduled Spring Break (April 13-17). Updated School Closures Info

Due to the fluid nature of the COVID-19/Coronavirus situation, the HBUHSD has extended the school closures through April 17. Please check your emails for additional updates from the District and from Principal Clitheroe. Students, please continue to check your email as your teachers will begin contacting you regarding online learning assignments. In addition, Grab and Go lunches are available to all students at OVHS and WHS, Monday through Friday, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Stay safe Valley Vista! We hope to see you all soon!

Mental Health Services During School Closures

Our District has partnered with Care Solace to provide mental health services for our students during the COVID-19 school closures. Care Solace provides 24/7 Emotional, Substance Abuse, and Crisis support referrals to our students and their families. Online and virtual therapy sessions are available.

Student Meals Update

Grab and go meals for all students in the District will be available for pick up at Ocean View High School and Westminster High School via drive through or walk up available Monday-Friday starting TOMORROW, March 18, from 12:00-1:00 pm. View the flyer for more details!

VvHS Closed March 16-27

Due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) the District has directed all HBUHSD schools to close for 2 weeks, beginning March 16 and going through March 27. At this time, school will resume on March 30. Please check for ParentSquare notifications or check back here or hbuhsd.edu for additional updates. Senior and Graduation Info Packets

Graduation is right around the corner. Next week Mrs. McCall will be handing out senior activity and graduation info packets, as well as graduation ticket request forms and information from Jostens to purchase caps and gowns and Class of 2020 memorabilia. Please be on the look out for that. The senior information pamphlets are attached here for you to view as well.
